We started with a broken tape measure

Core Metric Wellness began in a garage gym outside Charlotte, where a group of us kept arguing about whose waist measurement was right. The cheap vinyl tape we were passing around stretched a little more every month. We bought a better one, then a caliper, then a grip tester, and eventually realized the equipment side of self-tracking was full of flimsy gear sold on vague promises.

What we stock and why

We carry three things: tools that measure, tools that help you recover, and tools that keep joints moving. That's it. If a product doesn't fall into one of those buckets, it doesn't make the catalog, no matter how well it would sell.

• Measurement — tapes, calipers, and grip instruments with repeatable readings
• Recovery — rollers, percussion tools, contrast wraps, and compression
• Mobility — bands, blocks, and floor gear for the ten minutes before and after

How we talk about results

We sell equipment, not outcomes. Our copy describes what a product is made of, how big it is, and how people use it. Anything beyond that is your training log's job, not ours.
